alicia is a mixed heritage afro-latine artist from detroit currently based in new york city. she is inspired by brief research stints about natural phenomena; using sound to illustrate them fluidly and to connect them to emotional experiences. she hopes to find textures that are sparse, yet deeply intricate; and that engaging with their work feels like a bird flying past your window: fleeting, colorful, and grounding. 

they are the current production assistant for the wild resonance podcast with stephen griesgraber; where various bio-acousticians, biologists, ecologists, and sound artists are brought on to discuss their work intersecting art, research, and environmentalism.
